The Win Total Rises to 21
MLB Urban Youth Academy, Compton Ca - The Bethesda University baseball team was back in action against Marymount California University. The Flames came into the game ranked #3 in the in the latest national poll.
The Flames fell behind early in the game. Marymount was able to score in the first and third inning to take a 3-1 lead going into the fourth. The Flames woke up in the fourth and scored four runs in the inning to take a 5-3 lead.
Marymount would score another run in the seventh, but the Flames would add another run in the ninth to win the game by a score of 6-4. On the day the Flames scored six runs on thirteen hits.
Armando Valencia was a perfect 4-4 at the plate. Oscar Munoz pitched five innings to pick up the win and Daniel Arellano closed the game out for the Flames. Between the two pitchers, eight batters fell victim to the strikeout.
The Flames will be back in action this Tuesday as they will Travel to Master's College. First pitch is at 3:00pm.
