Flames Steal Road Win, Downs top Ranked Master's College
Santa Clarita, CA. - Trailing for most of the game, the Bethesda Flames came alive in the top of the 8th inning and was able to beat top ranked Master's College by a score of 10-9 on the road. The win improves the Flames to 28-22 heading into their last regular season challenge of the season.
"Our guys never quit!" Bethesda Head Coach Michael Gonzalez said. "They keep going. They showed heart and never gave up in this game. This is a great bunch of young men to coach. They worked hard every day at practice and always show up to play."
Master's College held the Flames scoreless through the first 7 innings, then all of a sudden in the top of the 8th "it" happened! The Flames scored 10 runs in the top of the 8th inning.

"This will be even better to look back at when it's all said and done," Coach Gonzalez said. "Baseball's amazing. We have a lot of Baseball left and we just need to stay focus and use these last regular season games to prepare for a post season run."
Daniel Arellano picked up the win for the Flames.
The Flames will travel to Arizona this weekend to conclude the regular season. They will take on the Firestorm of Arizona Christian. The game will take place at Firestorm Field, on the campus of Arizona Christian. The Firestom comes into the game with a 12-25 record.
Game 1 will be on Friday; start time is 2:00pm. On Saturday the teams will play a doubleheader, first game starts at 11:00am.
