Another pair of win for the Flames!
Bethesda baseball had another full weekend of action. Facing multiple opponents, Friday was against the university of Saint Kathrine's. Which unfortunately, ended in a loss we still took home so quality team lessons that looked to pay off in their next game against Antelope Valley.
Although the scoreboard was lit all game. The pitching is what stood out with a total of 82 strikes thrown amongst 5 pitchers. It is exciting to watch this lineup throw. Vincent Navarrette lead all pitchers with 43, Jaryn Pavek had 14 strikes, Robert Novela had 13, and Nolan Aurifonti and Rauudel Wilson ended with6 strikes thrown.
To top the weekend off the Flames took on La Sierra in a Super Bowl Sunday shootout. It was even all the way until the 6 inning. Then the flames took a two run lead and kept consistent through the rest of the game. Ending the weekend with two wins out of a three game weekend. This years team is starting hot and fight hard on the diamond every game. Do not hesitate to go catch a game if available. Their next game is this Tueday at noon.
