Bethesda Flames finished another rough weekend playing two games in two days.  On Friday, September 9, they played against the Sea Hawks of San Diego Christian College. In the middle of the day and with a short bench, the Flames managed to dominate throughout the game and finished the clock with a 2-1 win.

"Bethesda was coming into second game of the month against San Diego Christian College who beat Soka University of America respectively. BUC had a disappointing start giving away a goal outside the box but James Junmo Ryu equalized 10 minutes before the half-time whistle with a freekick. The Flames kept pressing high despite the scorching weather and they were rewarded with a spot kick when the forward Diogo Pereira was fouled inside the box, which Bobby Kim put comfortably behind the net to finish the game off," said YangHo Lee after the game.

A little more than 24 hours later, Flames stepped on the 'Lions' field to play their second game of the weekend. The men were focused and energized the first 45 minutes of the game, but starting the second half, the heat and tiredness took over them and Flames lost the battle finishing the game with 0-2 loss against Vanguard University. Flames finished the weekend with one win and one loss. Their upcoming game is on Friday, September 16, at Masters College.
