The 2025-26 season marks a new chapter for the Bethesda University Lion Angels Women’s Basketball team, a group driven by purpose, passion, and pride. This year’s Lion Angels feature a strong senior core blended with energetic underclassmen eager to make their mark. The mix of veteran leadership and youthful fire promises a fast-paced, confident team ready to challenge anyone on the schedule.

Guards & Playmakers

Bethesda’s identity begins in the backcourt.

  • Serina Quezada (Sr) and Jacqueline Aguilar (Sr) return as battle-tested leaders, bringing composure, experience, and two-way consistency.

  • Mary Gonzales (Jr) and Sierra Hill (Fr) give the team a dynamic combination at the point, capable of pushing tempo and breaking defenses down.

  • Sophie Jimenez (Jr) and Vanessa Moses (So) headline the shooting guard rotation — both sharp perimeter threats with improved defensive instincts.

  • Malo Faalaulau (Sr) adds energy and vocal leadership, often setting the tone in practices and huddles.

Frontcourt & Inside Presence
